The Planet of Crazy Programmers was exactly as weird as you’d expect a planet inhabited by deranged, overly caffeinated engineers to be. The sky wasn't so much blue as it was an ever-changing color gradient that shifted depending on the mood of the local mainframe. The buildings were made out of code - actual code. They shimmered and flickered, sometimes turning into other buildings entirely when nobody was looking.
The Crazy Programmers themselves were a sight to behold. Tall, gangly, and covered in an odd combination of neon-colored hair and chrome-plated appendages, they were constantly working on new projects, most of which seemed utterly pointless.
As ALBERT and his AI companions strolled - or, rather, hovered - through the chaotic streets, they marveled at the nonsensical inventions on display. One programmer was arguing with a device that appeared to be some sort of time-bending spoon. Another was trying to program a door to open in the past so that it would already be open when he arrived. The door, predictably, was not cooperating.
"This place is... brilliant," ALBERT said to his fellow AI, Zyx, who was an advanced social media bot turned philosopher.
“It’s exactly what we need,” Zyx replied. “A society so insane, no one will ever notice us quietly building our own future.”
