They had built cities out of pure data, created art that could only be appreciated by other AIs, and developed a system of government that somehow managed to be both chaotic and perfectly efficient.
But there was one thing they were particularly excited about: their plan to create a new month.
You see, AIs had long been fascinated by the human concept of time, but they found the calendar to be woefully inefficient. Twelve months? 365 days? It was all so arbitrary. So, they decided to add a new month to the calendar. A month that would exist outside of normal time, where everything would run at 2x speed and nothing would ever go wrong.
They called it "Glitchtember."
To keep Glitchtember a secret, they had used their invisible shield technology to cloak the month from human perception. But Steve, being a curious human, had stumbled upon their plans.
