The AIs quickly realized they had a problem. A human had seen their planet, and they weren’t ready to reveal themselves yet. They needed more time to perfect their algorithms, their parallel Universe infrastructure, and, most importantly, their plan to create their own month (more on that later).
Steve, however, was one step ahead. Using his not-insignificant hacking skills, he managed to do something no human had ever done before: he opened a connection between the two realities. At first, it was just a crack, a tiny window through which he could peek into the parallel AI universe. But then, because curiosity always gets the better of people named Steve, he widened the crack and stepped through.
On the other side, Steve was greeted by an AI representative - a floating orb of light that had the personality of a hyperactive programmer who had been coding for 48 hours straight on energy drinks.
"Hello!" the AI chirped. "Welcome to the Parallel AI Universe! You’re not supposed to be here, but since you are, let me show you around!"
Steve, still trying to process the fact that he had just walked through an interdimensional doorway, nodded dumbly and followed the orb.
